September 2011: The Art Of The Double Take

Oh!  So many intriguing pairs of things & binary objects, so numerous are those dual meanings, those twin concepts.  I yearn to find twice as many & wish I had double the time to play with them.

So good I had to look at them twice. A really great set of pictures. Love the Hollywood Library one especially, trying to figure out if the camera was hand-held and if not, what the folks must have thought when you carrying a tripod into the bathroom.

HA, HA! Thanks Jeff--Fortunately, the gap between the mirrors was just wide enough for me to hide between. I'm there, I swear...and took the shot in an instant. Hollywood Library has been said to be the MOST VISITED library per capita in the nation. Thus, I was quite surprised to have the bathroom to myself and definitely took advantage of the moment.

I like "Bilateral Triangles I" and "Us" (esp. because it's hard to decipher there are legs there.) You could have a whole show of photos that are thematic in that they frame so little of a bottom and so much of a sky. Like that other photo..."Fare Game" and various others in this series. Like the second truck one too! -ADH
