Sitting court-side for a Portland Pilots vs. St. Mary's Gaels basketball game means:

Using the only non-purple seats in the stadium

A referee often blocking the view

Flinching from balls thrown 

A strong possibility of touching the ball 

Remembering not to trip sideline refs or cross the court at half-time

Seeing sweat drip

Having hot dogs, popcorn, soda, candy, ice-cream & tons of junk food delivered personally

Screaming, trash-talking college fans in costumes one row behind

Realizing how much make-up cheerleaders wear

And maybe, just maybe, seeing the sport in a fun, new way
