May 2014: Short, Sweet & Stinky

SK & TT traveled on the last weekend of May via Mini Cooper for a total of nearly 12 hours, only filling the tank after 350 miraculous miles to visit former co-worker & dear friend IK, also known as Lady Mahota.  Residing among tall, thick trees in a cozy RV equipped with goods too long to mention including a kitchen island, fireplace & widening side slides, Lady M. has an idyllic five minute walk to work at the lodge of Howard Prairie Lake Resort.  Although time was short, the three managed to:

Start & extinguish campfires successfully
Eat burgers, dogs, bean dip & marshmallows by fireside
Hike through creepy meadows & a fallen forest to lake beach
Find four discarded tires, a mop, two mismatched shoes, a turquoise fishing reel & black lead pencil, one maté-drinking gourd with metal straw & an antique-looking glass bottle with living spores but no animal fossils in the dried-out lake bed
Set up & take down a four person tent
Drink beer, whiskey & Stevia ginger ale
Sit, sit & sit some more
Talk war panties, undesired massages, vomit smells, unventilated breakfast meats, soiled pantalones, tunes from an ipod & other relevant topics
Sleep outside comfortably at times
Discuss futures in brand new environments
Never feel rain, only blessed sun & shade

Much love IK!

Yours,
Ishkabibble Gaylord

Should've tried the roasted marshmallow filled with kahlua dessert. Then Lady M. might have slept outside with us.
