Hi again Jeff! I was just thinking about you & the expired film you sent me a few years back.
The Diana is so intriguing because, well, this is the only (dreamy) shot that turned out of two rolls (& I still can't figure out where exactly it was taken…) My memory is as fuzzy & imprecise as the camera. I like that.
Exact location determined! A strange, million dollar Mediterranean-esque house in the city with no olive trees & a basement where the light was bright & walls startlingly white.
I (or others) shot the photographs here during the specific months & years listed using black & white films in 35 or 120 mm manual cameras, polaroid, digital SLR & cell phone cameras. For the scanned black & whites, I developed the film & made prints in a traditional wet darkroom (vastly prior to 2014).
The purpose of this site is to document & categorize my ideas, my projects, my life. Ultimately, 'Light & Dark' is a bit of a narcissistic endeavor: it serves as a public exhibition to where I've been, what I've chosen to photograph + post & how I've determined its context. Your interest & understanding is sincerely appreciated.

Love this! Hope to see more shots from the Diana.

I think that is what I like about pictures from toy cameras (and pictures made with really old lenses) - they are blurry like memories or dreams.

The latest spotting of the ever elusive Tiffoot.
Diana saw her?! :)
